This months feature is a Rapper with two city’s interest at heart lets check out Young Dreal……….

Mistajay: What area are you reppin?

Yung Dreal: Columbus, GA & Raeford, NC

Mistajay: What are your influences of your music? And what inspires you?

Yung Dreal: Life in general just has a major influence on my music.  I talk about real life experiences and how I see the world from my point of view. The future of my family inspires me to do what I do.

Mistajay: You bio says at the age of 15 your first son was born how does that keep you grounded and focused?

Yung Dreal: It keeps me grounded in many way.  My mom made me understand at a young age, that I had a responsibility that I needed to take care of. It definitely made me grow up fast & understand that I need to provide the best opportunities for him to have in the future.

Mistajay: How do you describe your style?

Yung Dreal: My style of music is based upon my life and my perspective of how I view the world.  I am a firm believer that music needs to be kept personal, because it gives your music that element of sounding better.

Mistajay: What is your best song recorded to date and why?

Yung Dreal: Right now my focus is on pushin my new single “Rockd Out”.  It has been featured on, Greenhitz, & over 25 mixtapes so far. I feel as if the record is something different & gives a new meaning to the word rock.

Mistajay: You used to perform with a group known as U-Tube Entertainment 2008-2009.  If you could share the stage with any 3 artists or bands who are still around and touring, who would they be and why?

Yung Dreal: I really dont have no top 3, but I just wanna work with the best.  My focus is continuing to work hard & just let my music lead the way.

Mistajay: You have been determined to climb to the top of his music career, but he has not been able to network to secure a record deal what steps do you feel you have left to take to make that happen or is remaining any indy artist an option?

Yung Dreal: I believe an artist should stay independent if it is possible, but sometimes records deals may be the best move for an individual if it makes sense.

Mistajay: Where do you see the hip hop going in 2012? How do you see yourself fitting into that?

Yung Dreal: I believe Hip Hop will continue to grow and different types of music will be heard.  The way I plan on fitting is just trying to work hard and stay focused on the type of music that I make.

Mistajay: What are your future plans?

Yung Dreal: My future plans are to continuing to make good music and evolve as an artist.  I also want to start my own clothing line along with other products that I believe can be useful to others.

Mistajay: Any last thoughts? Where can fans follow you and get your music?
