Mistajay: What is the story and conception behind your emcee name?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: the story and conception behind our emcee names are:

BON DA DON: people called me bon before I stared rapping so I kept the name. Da Don part came from people who heard me rap that’s just what they called me.

MIDGET MANE: I’m a stoner, got the name from the hood. They come accustom to the product and that was what I was known for in my area. So I kept the name and ran with it. Real Blood Brothers: That name came from us have the same mother and father.

Mistajay: What area are you reppin? What is the hip hop scene like there?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: We rep Statesville NC, The underground music scene is growing daily so many have begun to write song and perform.

Mistajay: What are your influences of your music? And what inspires you?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: Our influences are telling it like it is and just being whole hundred. Hard to rap about something that you never did. Like it’s easy to write or make a song on how you really do things. So being truthful, hoping to reach. Being a great provider is what inspires us. Helping people is motivation to create music for folk in the struggle

Mistajay: How do you describe your style?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: Our styles are very different and unorthodox, but catchy at the same time

Mistajay: What is your best song recorded to date and why?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: Leave it up to me f,  BON DA DON, because it came from the heart. It’s just real

Mistajay: If you could share the stage with any 3 artists or bands who are still around and touring, who would they be and why?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: LIL Wayne, young jezzy, and 2 chains, because that’s who we listen to. We just feel their vibe far as music creation and hood credibility.

Mistajay: A lot of artists come into the game with a lot of ambition but don’t spend time learning the business side. How important to you is learning about publishing and royalties?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: Understanding publishing and royalties is a must. We have done our research and found out that so many artist miss a lot of money because of lack of paper work. The right paper work.

Mistajay: Where do you see the hip hop going in 2014? How do you see yourself fitting into that?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: We think the sky is the limit for hip hop in 2014. WE fell it will be another strong year for us far as sales and increasing our fan base.

Mistajay: What are your future plans?

REAL BLOOD BROTHERS: Our plans for the future is to continue to drop hot tracks and take over the internet.
