The Underground Experience 9/30/22 Celebrating 10 Years of the Underground Experience Feature from ‘012

10/05/2022

This months feature is a artists with rural take on the Hip – Hop Game check out Crackle Kapone………

Mistajay: What is the story and conception behind your emcee name?

Crakle Kapone: Pretty much it came from a good friend name proof

when I was around 12 it was cracker but he had a lisp and instead of cracker he said crackle and the shit just stuck the kapone part came later in life because of the whole white thing and I dig his business tactics now its more less who I am too crackle the funny jokin have fun man and kapone the business man all ties into who I am as a person

Mistajay: What area are you reppin?

Crakle Kapone: I represent the people who anit heard, the forgotten percent that know one wants to speak about I rep real music and real people.

Mistajay: What are your influences of your music? And what inspires you?

Crakle Kapone: It sounds so lame now because every one tries to say this shit but I’m

influenced by my life when I create music im giving you a audio picture of what the fuck im going thru at a certain moment in my life good, bad whatever its what I feel. Many things inspire me to do music it could be a relationship, could be a event, could be a random ass star in the sky. music is how I express myself and release my feelings about things so I don’t wig out and murder someone

Mistajay: How do you describe your style?

Crakle Kapone: My style is myself alot of people try different gimmicks and marketing bullshit but it never really works out because that’s not yourself I learn being yourself will always end up better people cant bitch when you are you they will and can but fuck it your not a fake person so it don’t matter

I’m a 22 year old white guy from a small rural area in North Carolina that lives in a trailer that’s who I am so that’s my style

Mistajay: What is your best song recorded to date and why?

Crakle Kapone: That’s like askin a parent who’s your favorite child

I dig them all the same each one ment and still does mean something at the time it was made so each one means something different but right now I’m really diggin my new single Whiteboy Go and my new single coming out in july both can be checked out at www.cracklekapone.webs.com

Mistajay: If you could share the stage with any 3 artists or bands who are still around and touring, who would they be and why?

Crakle Kapone: Im always down to do a show you can book me at

cracklekapone@gmail.com and as far as sharing the stage with any 3 I

would like to tour with Tech N9ne, Pastor Troy, ICP at the same time all on one bill I feel like that would be one of the livest shows your ever seen fucking super epic

Mistajay: Where do you see the hip hop going in 2012? How do you see yourself fitting into that?

Crakle Kapone: just depend on what type of hip hop your talkin about mainstream is fucked so unless it stops puttin out lame techno dance records and make music a human can listen to it’ll fade out but underground is booming right now there’s a fuck ton of artist but it don’t cost 5 million to get notice in underground if you got great music and small budget u can make a living in it and I fit in how I always have like a triangle in a square box I could give a fuck less I never fit in anywhere the Supporters that dig my music dig it because there the same way they grew up where they felt alone because they thought different and had a different view on the world

so we don’t fit in we are ourselves if ppl dig it beautiful if not fuck it

Mistajay: What are your future plans?

Crakle Kapone: Right now I have a new single out called Whiteboy Go im also planning on droppin another new single in july both can be heard on my album Trailer Made coming out this summer im also on my Trailer Made tour all spring, summer, fall and winter all songs, album and tour info can be found on my site www.cracklekapone.webs.com for booking, features Mixing or Mastering contact cracklekapone@gmail.com
